Prototype Castings

HMD is excited to work with local foundries on prototype and low-volume casting.  Using cutting-edge 3D printing technology, we design and create sand molds for even the most intricate castings.  Printed sand molds not only make it possible to design complex parts, but are also more cost-effective than traditional patterns for limited production castings.  Many times, the cast part will require finishing work or machining, which we coordinate with our network of local machine shops.  HMD works directly with these industry partners through all stages of development to deliver our customers complete and professional quality products.
