Our Start
HMD started out as an independent consultant; designing, building, and testing automated machinery for a startup photovoltaic solar panel manufacturing company. As the word spread about HMD's reputation as a creative, innovative, efficient, and organized design firm, our firm and our client base expanded. This growth has allowed us to provide more services to our clients, as well as gain experience in a wide variety of industries.
The Design Process
We help solve your company's most challenging design needs using a multi-step design process. We start with problem identification, research, and conceptualization to develop a set of possible solutions. A solution is then selected based on factors such as customer requirements, manufacturability, and cost. We then carry the product into a detailed design phase, through production planning, prototyping, testing, and production.
